Verano Sin Fronteras
A summer platform that turned one beach anthem into four national campaigns without losing the accent of any of them.
- Client
- Cerveza Cristal
- Markets
- Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina

The challenge
Cristal is a fixture of Chilean summer — so established that its advertising had become weather: present, expected, unnoticed. In neighboring markets it faced the opposite problem, competing in a crowded category where every brand was selling the same sunset.
A single campaign translated across borders tested poorly. Peruvian audiences read the Chilean cut as tourism advertising about someone else’s coastline.
The idea
Rather than one film dubbed four ways, we built Verano Sin Fronteras as a platform with a fixed spine and a local surface. The spine was a single track, commissioned from a Peruvian producer. The surface was everything else: each market cast its own musicians, shot its own coastline, and rewrote verses in local slang, all cutting back to the same chorus.
The result was four campaigns that sounded like siblings rather than translations. A shared end-frame and the recurring chorus carried brand consistency, freeing local teams to spend budget on relevance instead of rebuilding the idea.
The results
- 4 markets launched from one production budget, cutting per-market cost by 38%
- Aided brand awareness in newer markets rose from 11% to 34% over one summer
- The campaign track reached 2.1M streams with no paid promotion behind it
- Summer category share grew 4.2 points in Peru
